Safety & Reporting

Reporting

If you see something that shouldn’t be on TrendLive — such as bullying, harassment, threats, hate speech, or offensive content — you can report it directly to our moderation team. Reports are reviewed 24/7 by our trust and safety experts to ensure that TrendLive remains safe for everyone.

Reporting is always anonymous, so the person who posted the content will not be notified. We take every report seriously and take swift action if a post or account violates our Community Guidelines.

To report a post, simply tap the 3 dots on the bottom-right corner of any reel or video, and select "Report". You can also report entire accounts through their profile page.

Enforcement & Account Strikes

The first time your content is removed due to a Community Guidelines violation, you will receive a warning strike. A notification will explain why the content was removed and which guideline it violated. In severe cases (e.g. hate speech, threats, explicit content), a strike may be issued immediately without prior warning. Repeated or severe violations can result in account suspension or permanent ban.

TrendLive reserves the right to disable accounts that endanger user safety or violate our policies. We use both automated detection systems and human moderators to prevent abuse and identify harmful content quickly.

Privacy & Data Retention

To protect your privacy, we handle your data in accordance with applicable laws and our data retention policy. Personal information related to reported content or removed accounts is deleted after a designated retention period unless otherwise required by law.

If you choose to delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed after this retention window, and your profile will no longer be accessible on TrendLive.

Our Commitment to a Safe Community

TrendLive is committed to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and respectful space for creators and viewers. We continuously improve our tools to detect, report, and remove harmful behavior — while also providing education and support resources to our users. Together, we create a space where creativity thrives and everyone feels welcome.

We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and secure environment for all users. To achieve this, all user-submitted content—including profile pictures, posts, and media—is subject to review to ensure compliance with our community standards.

Prohibited Content

In addition to explicit, hateful, or violent material, we strictly prohibit the submission of any content of a suggestive or provocative nature.

Content is considered prohibited if it is intended to—or could reasonably be interpreted as—implying mature, intimate, or provocative themes, promoting hate or discrimination, or creating an environment that gives the impression of adult-oriented or exclusionary content. This applies even if the content is subtle, implied, or stylized rather than explicit. The following categories outline the scope of what may be considered inappropriate or suggestive:

•Content that conveys intimacy, provocation, or invitation through posture, gestures, or facial expressions, or that suggests exclusion, mockery, or hostility toward any group or individual.
•Content presented in environments or atmospheres that are commonly associated with intimacy or adult-oriented scenarios.
•Content that incorporates language, imagery, symbols, or digital effects that suggest or imply intimacy or adult-oriented themes.

Profile Picture Limitations

Because profile pictures appear in a small, cropped format, details may be lost and the remaining image may be interpreted differently than intended. A neutral or harmless element in a full image may appear provocative, discriminatory, hateful, or inappropriate when reduced, tightly cropped, or viewed without its original context.

Profile pictures are also displayed prominently across the platform and are often the first impression of a user. As such, they are held to a higher standard of neutrality and clarity than other content. Users should therefore avoid:

Uploading images where attire, body language, or environment could reasonably be misinterpreted when cropped. Including gestures, backgrounds, or objects that may create unintended associations. Using images that could suggest hostility, exclusion, or discriminatory messaging when viewed in reduced form. Selecting photos with lighting, angles, or filters that alter the perception of intent or tone.

By choosing clear, neutral, and context-appropriate images, users help ensure that profile pictures remain safe, respectful, and welcoming for all audiences.

Key Principle

If the overall impression of the content—even in a cropped or reduced format—could reasonably be interpreted as intimate, provocative, or suggestive, it will be considered prohibited.

Recommendations for Users

To maintain a safe and welcoming environment: Choose neutral, everyday settings. Share content that reflects personal interests, achievements, or positive self-expression. Avoid presentations that could be misinterpreted due to clothing, posture, or context. Ensure content does not promote discrimination, hate, or exclusion toward any individual or group.

Content Review Process

We use a combination of automated moderation tools - TrendLive AI - and human review to identify and address prohibited content. These measures are in place solely to protect the TrendLive community and maintain a safe platform for all users.

Consequences of Violations

Users who post suggestive or inappropriate content may be subject to content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination, at our sole discretion.
